Spring Hotel
Situated amongst 28 beautiful hillside acres,
the Spring Hotel is constructed out of beautiful
honey colored stone overlooking orchards producing
a bounty of local fruits. Spring is, and has
been, a working plantation for over 200 years.
Much of the food comes fresh from the gardens;
fresh fish from local fisherman; and there
are acres of fruit growing on the plantation
- citrus, mangos, plums, limes, papaya, bananas
and coconuts. The hotel is famous for the
Sunday Curry Buffet which is frequented by
locals and visitors - reservations are a must.
The 9 rooms in 3 separate buildings
of handcut stone and purpleheart wood offer
seclusion and privacy. All guest rooms have
a terrace and private bathroom with solar
heated showers. They overlook a sea of coconut
palms and the sparkling water of Spring Bay.
The hotel is just a 3 minute walk to the beach.
The FORT is highest on the hillside; the
GULL halfway up the hill; and two lower
rooms are adjacent to the Great House which
is built on the foundation of the original
18th century house of the sugar plantation.
