Bequia can be reached from all European, USA, Canadian and South American countries via one of the five Caribbean gateways: Barbados, St Lucia, Martinique, Grenada or Trinidad. Barbados provides more daily connecting flights to Bequia than other gateway airports.

Same day connections to Bequia's airport can be made through Mustique Airways and SVG Air. It is often more affordable to travel from Barbados to St VIncent and then take the ferry to Bequia.

There is a departure tax of EC$40 per person (children up to 12 years are free).

From the USA:
Take a direct flight to Barbados and then a connection directly to Bequia or fly to St. Vincent and take a ferry to Bequia.

From the Europe:
Take a direct flight to Barbados and then a connection directly to Bequia or fly to St. Vincent and take a ferry to Bequia.

International flights must arrive in Barbados in time to catch the 4pm connection to Bequia. Flights must arrive in St Vincent by 6pm to catch the last ferry to Bequia (7pm).

FERRY
A ferry service operates between Port Elizabeth, Bequia and Kingstown, St. Vincent. Sailing time jetty to jetty is about 1 hour. One way fares are EC$15 per person and EC$28 return.

The vessel MV Barracuda is known as the "Mail Boat" and operates twice weekly from Kingstown, St. Vincent through the Grenadines to Union Island with stops in Bequia, Canouan and Mayreau. This is an interesting and inexpensive way to see the Grenadines.
