Bequia is a relativley small island with
few roads and not much traffic. Hiring a car is an ideal
way to get around and see the most of the island. Driving
is on the left as in the UK but don't worry if your not
used to this as the roads are pretty empty and most vehicles
just amble along!
To rent an automobile, visitors must possess
a current international driver’s license or purchase
a local driver’s license .
A local license may be purchased upon presentation of
a valid driver’s license from your place of residence.
The cost is EC$50 (approx. US$19).
It's difficult to get lost on Bequia so have fun exploring!!
