Bequia has a variety of pristine dive
sites from calm colorful reefs in shallow water to dramatic
walls that drop away into deep blue. Most can be reached
in ten minutes in one of Dive Bequia's high-speed dive boats
custom built for our waters. They keep the diving as varied
as possible and sometimes suggest special excursions south
to the Grenadines or north to a spectacular dive site close
by an exotic tropical waterfall.

PADI Open Water Diver Certification
The Open Water Diver certification qualifies you to dive
without professional supervision with a qualified buddy.
The course takes you step by step from learning about the
equipment you use, physiological effects of breathing underwater
to planning and conducting safe dives.
The course takes about 5 days to comfortably complete.
The Open Water Diver Manual is included in the course price
for you to study from in your own time. The course is split
into three sections:
Theory - self study from your
PADI manual reinforces the information from the five Open
Water Diver videos which you will watch with your instructor.
Confined Water Dives - During
these sessions your instructor will demonstrate and help
you master scuba skills in shallow water.
Open Water Dives - Four Open
Water training dives plus Dive Bequia's graduation gift
of two experience dives give you a chance to finally see
the reefs and fish you've been waiting to see!

PADI Referrals
The Referral option gets you in the water and diving as
soon as you reach your holiday destination. Complete your
theory and shallow water sessions back home leaving you
the standard four dives for certification to complete with
us. Be sure to bring us your referral form from your original
instructor with theory and shallow water sessions signed-off.
